I really enjoyed Bat for Lashes 1st offering, Fur and Gold, It was nominated for a Mercury Music Award in 2007. This time her sound is similar in experimentalism to that of Fur and Gold but has a bit of a rockier edge to it.
There are striking similarities to Kate Bush on many of the tracks – in particular the lead single Daniel.
