This week has been a good week for music. I’ve particularly been enjoying the following albums:
Marmaduke Duke – Duke Pandemonium
This is a bit of Biffy Clyro (Simon Neil) and Sucioperro (JP Reid). The result is a crazy rock electro experimental Scottish band that is good fun!
This is another great remix album from Bloc Party. Intimacy is Bloc Party’s 3rd album and has divided fans, although not as commercially successful as their previous 2 offerings, this is nevertheless a great album and sees the band exploring their boundaries as a band.

Graham Coxon – The Spinning Top
Graham Coxon has been listening to Nick Drake! This is a beautiful acoustic album with a couple of typical romping Coxon songs thrown in for good measure!

Coldplay – Left Right Left Right Left
A free live album from Coldplay!
This album wasn’t released this week, but I have just discovered it and really enjoyed so thought it was worth a mention!

the mummers songs “march of the dawn” is a bit like a rufus wainwright song with female vocals – downloading coldplay now
Yes I definitely agree with the Wainwright similarities! I’m listening to the Coldplay album now and enjoying it so far a mix of new album songs and older songs!
